India joins TWAS in promoting South-South cooperation in
science through Biotechnology fellowships for
doctoral and postdoctoral studies
Department of Biotechnology (DBT) ,Govt of India has entered into an agreement with Third World Academy of Sciences ( TWAS) to provide 50 fellowships annually in biotechnology for doctorate and post-doctorate studies to students from developing countries. Fellowship recipients will study at Indian universities and research institutes. The programme will be administered in collaboration with the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB).The application forms can be viewed and downloaded on the DBT and TWAS websites . Last date for submission of completed Applications to the TWAS office is 31st August of each year.
